1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, listing a venue, or making a booking through ReceptionHallRentals.com, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms, whether or not you become a registered user. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and ReceptionHallRentals.com.

2. Services Offered

ReceptionHallRentals.com provides an online platform that allows venues ("Hosts") to create profiles and list their spaces for rent, and for customers ("Guests") to browse, book, and pay for venue rentals through our online booking calendar. ReceptionHallRentals.com does not own or operate the venues listed on the site. We act solely as an intermediary to facilitate bookings between Hosts and Guests.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use our services. By using ReceptionHallRentals.com, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. Account Registration and Security

• Account Creation: To access certain features of the site, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
• Account Confidentiality: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify ReceptionHallRentals.com immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account information.

5. Host-Specific Terms & Pricing

• Venue Listings: Hosts can create listings for their venues, including descriptions, photos, availability, and pricing. You represent and warrant that all information provided in your listings is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
• Host Responsibilities: As a Host, you are solely responsible for:
  • The accuracy of your venue listings.
  • Setting appropriate rental prices and cancellation policies.
  • Ensuring your venue is safe, clean, and accurately represented.
  • Communicating promptly and professionally with Guests.
  • Honoring all confirmed bookings.
  • Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits related to your venue and its rental.
  • Maintaining Pricing Integrity: Ensuring that the rental prices offered on ReceptionHallRentals.com for your venue are not undercut by direct offers or listings on other platforms for the same booking dates and services. All discounts or special offers must be facilitated exclusively through ReceptionHallRentals.com.
• Host Fees and Discounts: For each successful booking made through ReceptionHallRentals.com, Hosts agree to pay ReceptionHallRentals.com a commission of 5% of the total rental price, plus a $50 flat fee per booking, in addition to Stripe payment processing fees. Stripe processing fees are charged per transaction and deducted from your payout. For details on current Stripe processing fees, please see: https://stripe.com/pricing.
  
  ReceptionHallRentals.com may, from time to time, offer promotional discounts to Guests. When such a discount is applied, it will be fully absorbed by ReceptionHallRentals.com and will not affect the payout owed to Hosts. Payment processing fees, if applicable, will be calculated on the price paid by the Guest.
• Payment Processing Fees: Hosts are also responsible for any Stripe payment processing fees associated with the transactions. These fees will be clearly displayed during the booking process and deducted from the payout.
• Payouts: Payouts to Hosts will be initiated on the start date of the booked event. However, please allow up to three (3) business days for the funds to reach your account, depending on your financial institution and payment processor timelines.

6. Payments and Financial Terms

• Payment Gateway: ReceptionHallRentals.com uses Stripe and other third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms of service of our payment processors.
• Taxes: You are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable tax laws related to your use of the services, including the collection and remittance of any taxes applicable to your venue rentals.

7. User-Generated Content

This section governs content, including images, text, and other materials, that you upload, post, or display on or through ReceptionHallRentals.com ("Your Content").

• 7.1 Your Content and Licenses: You retain all ownership rights in Your Content. By submitting Your Content, you grant ReceptionHallRentals.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform Your Content in connection with the operation of ReceptionHallRentals.com and Reception Hall Rentals LLC's business.
• 7.2 Representations and Warranties: You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. By submitting Your Content, you affirm, represent, and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize ReceptionHallRentals.com to use Your Content as described.

15. Account Deletion

You may request to delete your account at any time. However, account deletion is not permitted if you have any upcoming or ongoing bookings as a Host. Once all bookings are completed or cancelled, you may proceed with your account deletion request.
